Kourtney Kardashian to Scott Disick: Sofia is Too YOUNG to Be Your Wife!!
It's been whispered that Scott Disick may propose to Sofia Richie on Christmas. It's an exciting time for these two.
It's not such an exciting time for Kourtney Kardashian, however. She's reportedly desperate to stop this proposal from happening.
Rumors have, as the trite expression says, been swirling about Scott Disick and Sofia Richie.
The two have been very seriously dating for more than two years, now.
If rumor is to be believed, Scott is gearing up for a proposal to Sofia, and could very well pop the question any day now.
But this report says that Kourtney Kardashian is urging him to slam on the brakes.
RadarOnline says that Kourtney is trying to give Scott an intervention before he makes a commitment that she feels is a mistake.
"She swears this is for Scott’s best interests," the insider describes.
The souce reports that Kourtney says that it's purely for his own good "and not because she’s still in love with him."
"But nobody’s buying it," the insider opines.
"From day one Kourt’s been panicking about this relationship," the source characterizes.
That's interesting to hear, since it's sounded like she made peace with the idea quite some time ago.
They have even gone on group vacations with the kids.
The source, however, says that Kourtney has never accepted it and has been "saying it’ll end in tears."
Don't all relationships end in tears? The only two ways out of one are death or a breakup. Crying is pretty much guaranteed.
"And Sofia’s too spaced out and young to be marriage material," Kourtney has allegedly been warning people.
The insider says that Kourtney doesn't think that Sofia is ready to be a wife "let alone a stepmom to her kids!"
To be fair, Sofia Richie is 21 years old. Some people think that marriage shouldn't be legal until age 25. (Me, I'm some people)
"She’s taken Scott aside and begged him to think twice before putting a ring on this girl’s finger," the source claims.
Wow, you know that it's serious if someone is directly pleading with an ex. It's so embarrassing.
The insider continues: "But he’s told her to back off and stop being bitter."
Kourtney can be absolutely nuts sometimes, but we've never seen her as being especially bitter.
Not every member of the family feels as Kourt does, the report warns.
"Kris is trying to push Scott to propose so that they can capture it on camera," the source claims.
The insider adds: "And he is not having any of it.":
“He wants to do this under his terms," the source insists, "and everyone is getting really impatient."
"Scott loves Sofia, this is obvious," the insider acknolwledges. "But he refuses to be forced into anything."
Scott may want to wait until the perfect moment, but Sofia is much younger and likely less patient.
The source concludes by warning that Sofia "may decide to say ‘ciao’ to her procrastinating boyfriend."
It sounds like there's no outcome that will make everyone happy.
We have to say that we're having a little bit of trouble accepting this unsubstantiated report at face value.
Kourtney has never given any public indications that she has lingering concerns about Scott and Sofia.
By all accounts, Sofia fits into the family almost too well, and you'd think that Kourtney would welcome that sort of stability.
