Tristan Thompson: STILL Trying to Get Back Together With Khloe Kardashian!
It's been nine months since Khloe Kardashian last broke up with Tristan Thompson.
But even though it was the second time she dumped his ass, and even though she had very good reason for doing so, it seems the Cleveland Cavs forward is still not getting the message
According to a new report from E! News, Tristan is hard at work trying to make his way into Khloe's good graces.
And those who know her best are concerned that he might eventually wear down her defenses.
"Tristan is always trying to win Khloe back," one insider tells the outlet.
The source adds that regaining his ex's affection has become something of a pet project for Tristan, and he "sends Khloe gifts and flatters her with compliments" on a routine basis.
"He feels guilty and knows how badly he messed up," the source adds.
"Khloe was the best thing that ever happened to him and he knows he made a lot of mistakes. He's trying to make up for it."
Khloe's soft spot for her baby daddy is well-documented, of course.
It wasn't all that long ago, after all, that she got back together with Tristan after he was caught cheating on her while she was pregnant.
It was only when Tristan was caught cheating again -- this time with Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordyn Woods -- that Khloe put an end to the relationship.
While some within Khloe's inner circle are concerned that history will repeat itself, E!'s insider is confident she'll stand her ground:
"She's in a great place in her life where she's focused on True and co-parenting with Tristan," says the source.
"She's not interested in giving him another chance," the insider adds.
"She is glad they have come to a peaceful place and can be a family with True, but that is all."
But it seems all the firm resolve and amicable co-parenting in the world isn't gonna convince Tristan to back down:
"Tristan isn't giving up on Khloe and isn't getting the hint," the insider adds.
"It seems like he isn't going to give up until he gets what he wants."
Someone needs to remind this dude how much he hates monogamy.
